Ephesus was constructed on a river bend that was eventually dredged into a full harbour near the mouth of the Cayster River. Ephesus is an enclosure for archaeological remains, which marries conservation and accessibility. On this tour, you will learn about the rich history of Ephesus and Asia Minor, modern Turkey.
The tour includes guided visits to the Artemis Temple, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, a tour through Ephesus, and the House of the Virgin Mary. A buffet lunch is included.
